To help you achieve the best possible results from your VersaSpa Pro spray tan at Tan N Time, please follow these simple pre- and post-care instructions.

Preparing your skin properly is one of the most important steps for achieving an even, long-lasting tan.

• Exfoliate your skin thoroughly to remove dead skin cells 
• Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if possible 
• Avoid heavy moisturizers, body oils, or products that leave residue on the skin 

• Shower before arriving for your spray tan 
• Do NOT apply lotion, perfume, deodorant, makeup, or oils before your session 
• Wear loose, dark clothing and sandals after your appointment 
• Remove all jewelry before tanning 
• Avoid wearing tight bras, leggings, socks, or anything that may rub against the skin immediately after tanning 

Proper aftercare will help your tan develop evenly and last longer.

• Avoid water, sweating, workouts, swimming, or rain until your first rinse 
• Avoid touching or rubbing your skin 
• Wear loose-fitting clothing while your tan develops 

• Your first rinse should typically be 6–8 hours after your appointment unless instructed otherwise 
• Rinse with lukewarm water only 
• Do NOT use soap during the first rinse 
• You may notice cosmetic bronzer washing away — this is normal while your developed tan remains underneath 

• Moisturize daily with a hydrating lotion 
• Avoid exfoliating products and harsh scrubs 
• Limit long hot showers, baths, saunas, and chlorine exposure 
• Pat skin dry after showering instead of rubbing with a towel 

• Spray tans typically last 5–7 days with proper care 
• Your tan will continue developing for several hours after your appointment
